Who is luces true love in the fallen series

At the end of Rapture, in the Epilogue, basically the same thing happens, except this is the "first" and last time Luce and Daniel will meet and Shelbv and Miles are married. Arielle Jul 17, PM 0 votes. How come some people who read Rapture don't know who the woman who broke Cam's heart is? Didn't you read Passion? Cam was engaged to a girl named Lilith and she wanted to get married in a church but since he was a fallen angel, he can't step foot in a church or else it burns down.

Lilith got mad, they had a fight, broke up and Cam became a demon. Anyways, I adored the ending, but it sucks that we don't know what happens to Cam. He was one of my favorite characters.

And also, what about Luce's parents and Callie? Crystal Jul 10, AM 0 votes. I am so so so very disappointed at how after the whole book, Luce and Daniel become human. It is as if Kate erases their whole history and adds in "And it was all a dream. What about Gabbe and Molly? And the Scale? I love the first two books, and Passion was passable. But the ending of Rapture just killed everything for me.

Ok she chooses Daniel, but she wasn't even sad that she was leaving her parents behind or her best friend. She wasn't even worried that they will be so upset, not knowing whether Luce is dead or not, not caring that her parents will be living in hell for the rest of their life not knowing what happened to her.

Basically, the motto is, true love is more important than acting like a decent human being. She can ask favours for the outcast, but she does nothing for her family. Lucifer was a pg12 Devil. Cam, the most interesting character out of them all, only had a minor part, so I was so bored of the story. Running about, collecting useless stuff. I really loved the first book, but the rest of the series got worse and worse.

Then Shelby asked the others what happened to him, and no one answered! What the hell! The 'mysterious girl who broke his heart', I thought it was Luce, esp with all the hints in the first 2 books. But sigghsss I guess I'll never know.

SN: I was so giddy when she first saw Daniel, as soon as she said 'red scarf' I was giddy as a 12 year old :. Robin - Jun 15, AM 0 votes.

I loved this book, my favorite of the series and I loved that Luce and Daniel were together the entire journey. I liked the ending fine but I also felt they were robbed. Yeah they got to be together and that's all they really wanted but having to start all over and basically taking from them Everything they went through to be together, sucked. I am glad they got the HEA though so I won't complain too hard lol I suspected her to be an angel but not til the end of the 3rd book and I was still only eh about that.

I still felt pleasantly surprised at how the story fleshed out. Nataly Jun 29, PM 0 votes. Lorelei Jun 13, AM 0 votes. What happened to Trevor? This was not answered. The whole think was predictable, everybody knew what Luce was since the beginning of the series.

This book for me was the most dissapointing in the series the ending just makes you feel like your entire time reading this series was wasted, everything they accomplished was for nothing, Every life they went through made them stronger, but now its kind of like who cares, When Gabbe Died I cried and almost ripped the book in half, I mean are you kidding me.

She had one line in the book and then dies, And the I just think the book series in general dragged on and in about Penns death, Yes I loved Penn and cried when she died, but I would like to stop being reminded about it, And Rapture just seemed a bit predictable from the first few paragraphs I knew Dee was going to die, And it pissed me off that Miles And Shelby were hardly in it, But there were some good things I instantly fell in love with Dee she was amazing, and Im glad Cam smashed Miss Sopia's face in.

And I loved the little hints at the last chapter of Luce's last life. Ali Oct 21, PM 0 votes. Do we know why Cam and Luce were attracted to each other in the first place? At first I thought maybe he was just doing it to get under Daniel's skin, but even after they made up, he still acted like he had feelings for her and her a little for him. I actually wanted them to find a way to stay angels.

Jul 12, PM. Jul 14, AM. I just finished the book. I'm a little upset at the ending. I actually got so emotional with the ending, I wish there was a bit more of it. I also really would've liked to know more about Cam's lover :O. Jul 14, PM. Tiffany wrote: "Insights about the ending? Firstly, Luce being an angel came as a huge shock to me, and when the whole "becoming mortal, but you have no me And not being the same Luce was never the same so i think it is cool they both start with no members of who they was they still together.

The Luce being an angel thing was a shock and yet it seemed to make sense. I do agree that the loophole sucked. I hated that they had to make a choice, that god allowed all those people to die invaine of a "love story".

I'm glad that even though they were made mortal they still showed Miles, Shelby, Roland, And the other two girl angels but what I am mad about was there was no explanation about Luces old life. Did she die, go missing, was she erased from her BFF and parents. She was just "reborn" to new parents. That I didn't like at all. I can except the ending but I wish she wrapped up the rest of the characters like where Cam went.

I believe his love story is in the fallen in love book which explain the sub characters love lives. Jul 15, PM. It finally gave depth to all the rest of the books in the series. I just didn't like that it didn't explain where she went.

Last her parent's knew she was still at Sword and Cross! Jul 16, AM. I dislike this book. The ending felt rushed. Luce seem way too happy about it. Not even concerned she was going to hurt her family, again. Selfish beyond measure. And Lucifer, suffering from a broken heart, what the hell crap is this?? The only thing that was of any use was the Halo. It was trying to be dark for the sake of being dark, and it just came across as pointless. And God intervention, was a deux ex machina.

Made the end feel lightweight. All that attempt to figure out where the fall was going to take place, all that struggle, was all for nothing, when they could have sat back and let god do all the work. Having god intervening dismissed all the struggle that the characters had to endure to try and stop the end.

I really loved the first book but the series got worse over time. Jul 17, AM. Nuran wrote: "I dislike this book. And the most interesting character I feel that way too. The ideas of the book are contradicting at times- like so many people Gabbe, Molly, Dee, the old man, outcasts were sacrificed just to stop this several millennial war. Just so the scale can finally be tipped. The last book just convinced me that maybe the Elders were right. It was just selfish love between two teenagers- destructing order, obstructing peace, and sacrificing the innocents.

She should have at least showed a lot more remorse and agony over it. Not a good friend or daughter. Or if Daniel died, and Luce died of old age and they were reunited in the next life. Kris wrote: "I just finished the book. God was worse than the devil in some ways.

And I would have preferred it, if God remained genderless, I don't know why, but it felt like a forced girl power moment. Jul 17, PM. I agree, I would have like it is God would have remained genderless.

However if the author would have made God a He, then it could be construed that she was trying to force organized Islamic-Judeo-Christian beliefs pardon to any other religions that may see a male only deity for excluding on a younger, perhaps more malleable audience. Jul 18, AM. Grigori are a group of angels from the bible who were suppose to watch over humans but instead gave into lust and had their merry ways with a lot of female humans, some having many wives each.

Otherwise some readers, or maybe one reader, might question just exactly why was that changed? Jul 18, PM. But its not a religious book, its a YA fantasy book that appeals to many without needing a religious slant. Jul 19, AM. Luce and Daniel almost deserve that kind of ending. They need a finality to whatever they have call it love, stupidity, denseness, whatever.

And it was really a nice ending, I even finished the book with a sigh of contentedness. I mean, a character like that doesn't deserve to be cut off like that.

And do you think Gabbe should be unceremoniously dead before we find ourselves in the middle of the book? The ending made me really sad because i thought it would be a different ending. It is later revealed that Lucinda was the third archangel, next to Gabbe.

She then finds out that her first lover was actually Lucifer and that he still feels a grudge for his lost love. Lucinda faces Lucifer to try to change his mind to stop the fall erasing their past. This argument caused the throne to summon all the present fallen angels at Heaven for a final Roll call after a millennia of their punishment. In front of the Throne, Daniel and Lucinda were asked again to choose a side Heaven or Hell and their answer was the same as before, they choose their love above all.

As nothing could be done, that even in the curse they will find each other somehow, they were finally granted a second chance for their love. But it came with a price, by losing all of their memories, all of their angelic natures and forbidding their old friends from seeking them out, they will be reborn as mortals. At this Luce was delighted finally they both were going to be together for long but afraid of possibility of not meeting Daniel again in next lifetime.

Daniel assured her that he will find Luce as he always does no matter what and nothing can stop him from doing so. They both agreed, bid their goodbyes to their friends and kissing each other one last goodbye until they meet again.

In the end, Arriane, Rolland, Miles and Shelby now adults seek Luce and Daniel from afar as they meet each other once again and fell in love for the first and the last time. When The Throne left Heaven for creating the Moon and the Sun, the place grew very lonely as the angels' task was to adore The Throne and He was not present, they felt as if they were useless. Rumors were that soon the human beings, a new race, will replace the angels.

He kissed her and taught her how to love. Soon she left her silver seat for him. Then Lucifer asked Lucinda to say she adores him. She refused and replied that adoration is only for God, but Lucifer didn't gave up. He wrote a song for her:.

Lucinda started to fear him, Lucifer feared that she might leave him. He made Lucinda sing this song until she was in love with him.

He convinced her that together they would be the greatest above all. She feared that the Throne might hate her after that, she feared what would the other angels think of this. Lucifer's love with his pride was consuming her to nothingness. Once Lucinda was weeping in the Meadow, an angel's shadow hovered over. She screamed to leave her alone. When she raised her head, she realized that Daniel the sixth angel to the line in throne was there.

She asked why has he come to her, he replied because he had been watching her, this was because Lucinda was the first angel to cry, he asked what is happening to her. For a long time she searched for words and replied, "I feel like I am losing my light. Nobody actually listened to her for a long time.

In the end, Daniel's eyes were wet with tears and he said, "What you call love does not sound very beautiful. Think of the way we adore the Throne. That adoration makes us the best versions of ourselves. We feel encouraged to go further with our instincts, not to change ourselves for love. If I were yours and you were mine, I want you to be exactly as you are.

I would never eclipse you with my desires". They both share a kiss and fall in love instantly. Below are some of Lucinda's lifteimes mentioned within the series although there are many more which are unknown. Luce is said to be quite beautiful. She has raven black hair that used to be long but was singed in the fire which led to her mother cutting it short. She also has hazel eyes, pale skin and has small straight teeth. She is seen throughout the first book in uniform black the Sword and Cross uniform is only black-on-black and she has short choppy black hair.

In Torment, she bleaches her hair with her friend Shelby as a way of "getting over" Daniel, the idea soon goes south by his apall over it.
